When both of these groups of enemies are dead, you'll soon thereafter come to a curve in the river that heads rightward. If you can't see them but you can hear them, comb the shore until they are all dead. Some of the enemies will stay on the shore, and some of them will run into the water. When the two enemies are clipped (try to get them as soon as you possibly can to avoid any messiness otherwise), you'll continue further down the river, where you'll face more enemy resistance, this time on the higher-ridged shoreline to your left. Quickly take aim at these foes with your Sprinfield Sniper Rifle, aiming in and closely firing, using the cross-hairs as your guide. This is likely when you'll encounter your first enemy resistance in the area in the form of two Japanese soldiers coming from the shore on your right side, running into the water, and taking aim at you, the rest of the Marines in the boat, and boat itself.
